Service Description

Pre-Waxing Care Essentials - It is important that you perform a thorough visual inspection of the area that needs waxing. Check for signs of broken skin or inflammation. When you detect a wound or open skin, it’s best to delay waxing until the skin is completely healed. Identify moles or beauty marks that you may have so the esthetician can perform measures to protect them during your waxing session. - Allow the hairs to grow first, but not too long. The hair must be long enough for the wax to grip it and pull it out effectively. The wax will be unable to grip the hairs is they are too short. Consequently, the wax will have a difficult time to adhere to the hairs if they are too long. It is also more painful to pull out if the hairs are too long. Ideally, wait for two to three weeks or until the hair is about a quarter of an inch before you perform or schedule a waxing session. - Moisturize the skin a few days prior and on the day of waxing. A well-hydrated skin allows for the wax to release more easily and with less pain. Do not overly moisturize the skin, too as a thick coat of moisturizer can harm the wax’s grip into the skin. - If you use skincare products that contain retinol, it is advisable to temporarily stop using them at least two weeks before your scheduled waxing appointment. Retinol-based products make the skin vulnerable to injury, especially during waxing sessions. Post-Waxing Care Essentials -No exercise, intercourse, or tanning for at least a day after waxing. You should also avoid steamy saunas, hot tubs and baths. -After 2/3 days have passed, you can lightly exfoliate the skin that’s been waxed and also moisturize.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 48 hours & No show fee: If you no show or fail to give me a 48 hour notice of cancellation from your scheduled appointment time you will be required to pay 100% of the service(s) booked for that day. Failure to pay will result in being BANNED from booking with me. My time and energy is precious so please understand and respect my policy. Do not book if you cannot dedicate yourself to your appointment or are not willing to pay my cancellation fee. Rescheduling: If you give me a 48 hour notice from your scheduled appointment time you will be able to reschedule your appointment ONE time, but you're only allowed to reschedule within 7 days of the original appointment date. Example: If your appointment is scheduled for Jan. 1st you can reschedule any day from the 2nd to the 7th.If you're not able to make it to your rescheduled appointment you will be required to pay 100% of the service(s) booked. Failure to pay will result in being BANNED from booking with me. Late fee: If you are 10 minutes late you will be charged a $10 late fee. After 15 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be required to pay 100% of the service(s) booked. Failure to pay will result in being BANNED from booking with me. Transaction Processing Fees (Added in person to the total due at checkout) Credit/Debit Cards/Apple Pay = 2.9% + 30 cents Affirm/Afterpay = 6% + 30 cents Wix Point of Sale = 2.6% Tap to Pay on mobile = 2.6% + 20 cents Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App have no processing fees. Please understand and respect my policy. I have to apply this policy to maintain professionalism and to make sure my work place runs smoothly. I have a strict schedule and I will not accept clients being late. Lastly, I will not accept last minute cancellations/ no shows without there being consequences. Not only will my time be wasted but there are also clients wanting your spot. I hope everyone can understand and respect what I believe is best for my business. Please don't take anything personally.
